57 th Regatta of the Ancient Maritime Republics
It will be held in Amalfi, near Atrani, the 57 th Regatta of the Ancient Maritime Republics (or Palio of the Ancient Maritime Republics) is a sporting event of historical commemoration, established in 1955 with the purpose of recalling companies and the rivalry of the most famous maritime republics Italian; those of Amalfi, Genoa, Pisa and Venice, during which they compete with each other four crews rowing representatives of each of the republics.
